ALL prizes have a cash value and aleph reserves the right to provide the cash value in place of each prize. All vacation packages must be confirmed with Aleph Auction coordinators no later than 2 weeks after the auction date. Vacation packages may have restrictions and price values at Aleph's discretion. Non-locals: Winners will be notified via telephone or e-mail. For your convenience, upon request prizes may be shipped via UPS for a nominal fee. However, Aleph takes no responsibility for large or oversize items shipped.
Terms and Conditions of participation in The Aleph Institute Auction and Raffles:
Participation in The Aleph Institute (hereinafter referred to as Aleph Auction and raffles, deems acceptance of the terms and conditions below.
Prizes will be awarded and if winner is not present at the drawing, winner will be notified by email, phone, mail, fax, or in person, at Aleph's discretion. Tickets and prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Substitution of prizes or cash equivalent are allowed at Aleph's discretion only. By entering the Aleph Auction or raffles, each participant releases Aleph and its agents from all responsibility or liability for damages, losses, or injury resulting from acceptance or use of any prize.Payment of Federal Taxes, State Taxes, Local Taxes, surcharges, and delivery charges are the responsibility of the raffle winner and will be paid by the raffle winner. Raffle winner is responsible for making arrangements to pick up the item(s) won in a timely manner. Aleph is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Aleph Auction and raffles or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the orders in this Aleph Auction and raffles. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Confirmation of your ticket (including number(s) where applicable) will be mailed or emailed upon receipt of your entry form and payment. You must save this mail, since it will be your raffle ticket(s). A printed copy of the raffle ticket(s) is required and must be presented to claim any prizes.For some items, including the grand prize of $100,000 cash, there must be a minimum number of tickets SOLD. This excludes any free tickets that may be offered in addition to tickets sold. The minimum number of tickets required to be sold will be written on the tickets themselves. In the event that the tickets do not state a minimum number, the minimum number will be deemed to be 2,750. In the event that the minimum number of tickets required to be sold is not attained, there will be a progressive jackpot of the proceeds, after expenses, between the raffle ticket winner and Aleph. Aleph reserves the right to substitute a cash prize, or a similar prize of approximately the same value, at its own discretion, for any item offered at the Aleph Auction or raffles. When pictures are shown, the actual item may vary from the picture which is used as a guideline. In the event that you win a prize or prizes, you accept all prizes "as is", with no warranty from Aleph. This does not affect the manufacturer's warranty if it exists. Most items donated to the Aleph Auction are brand new. However, Aleph does not attempt to determine if the items are, indeed, brand new. Since most prizes are on display at the Aleph Auction, we recommend that you see the items before buying tickets if this is of concern to you. Aleph is unable to provide any kind of technical support.Aleph provides all the items in good faith. In the event that an item which was won proves to be faulty, Aleph will attempt to have it repaired or replaced by the donor. If this is not possible, Aleph limits its liability to the cost of the winning ticket which Aleph agrees to refund if so requested to do so. The drawing date, time and location may be changed at the discretion of Aleph. If any prize winner cannot present the printed copy of the email, or stub of the raffle ticket (with the ticket number on it, when applicable), in order to claim their prize, or if there is any other circumstance in which the winners may not accept the prizes, that prize winner will be eliminated and a new drawing will be held immediately, or as soon as possible thereafter. Folded and/or mutilated tickets will be disqualified.Proceeds will benefit Aleph Institute.
